For the first time, 10 undergraduates instead of 8 have been selected in a rigourous process. The first criteria was to be part of the 2015 Fall or 2016 winter cohort of the course COM-115, which is Intercultural communication for futur engineers of ÉTS. These students had to submit a motivation letter as well as a resume. Among all the received applications, 8 were convene in interview, where they had to present a pecha-kucha presentation in addition to answers some questions, including some in English. The pecha-kucha is a technique inherent from Japan which consists in making a presentation with 20 pictures broadcast 20 seconds each, on a particular theme. The theme, left to the discretion of the participant, had to illustrate an aspect of the japanese culture.
