marlie dessources

Marlie Dessources is finishing her first year in industrial engineering. As a student, she distinguishes herself from the others by her curiosity and her involvement in the academic environment. Member of the student club S.O.N.I.A, a group consisting of the design of an autonomous underwater, she discovers, bit by bit, the small world of aeronautics.

Since high school, science has always played an important role in her life. Being in science concentration, she had the chance to participate in the ExpoScience’s program with a project that had plants and pollution as topic.

Thereafter, she obtained a degree in the Science of Nature at CEGEP Montmorency, where she had the chance to be part of the Scientific Club of the school.

Her two greatest passions are singing and sports. In addition to her activities, she works part-time in the field of customer service. This is what allowed her to beat her shyness and develop a keen interest in communication with others. The Japan Mission 2016 represents a golden opportunity to push this interest to another level.
